Volunteers of America Wyoming & Montana held its second annual Bandana Barn Dance at the Winfield Ranch in Banner on Saturday, September 19, 2009. The Bandana Barn Dance is quickly growing into Sheridan’s premier fundraising event. The fun-filled night of poker, dancing, great food, and gaming raised over $85,000 for Volunteer’s of America’s programs.
Jeff Holsinger, President and CEO of Volunteers of America, said that despite the difficult economy, attendance and donations at this year’s event were up significantly.
“Our community hit a home run this year. This is the perfect event for folks in our community to come together, not only to have a great time, but to show their support for what we have been doing in Wyoming and Montana for nearly 25 years,” he said. “We are very
fortunate for the outpouring of support from all of our event sponsors, the attendees, and all of
our volunteers. We cannot wait to do this again next year.”
